Our Story -  A message from the founder

Real Eastside Baby was founded in 2022 with a purpose: to change the narrative.

Too often, places like the Eastside are spoken about negatively, as somewhere to leave behind instead of something to be proud of. But for me, it’s home. It’s where I learned, grew, and became who I am. This brand was created to flip that perspective.

Instead of distancing ourselves from where we come from, Real Eastside Baby is about owning it proudly and unapologetically.

What started as something local quickly grew into something bigger. After coming to college, I met people from different cities and backgrounds who shared the same experience, being from the “other side” and feeling overlooked. That connection proved this message goes beyond one place. 

Our Purpose

Real Eastside Baby exists to empower people from overlooked communities and give them something to wear that represents their story.

What started locally now connects people everywhere, because no matter where you’re from, there’s always an “Eastside.

 Real Eastside Baby isn’t just something you wear. It’s something you represent.
